A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.  Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

Proverbs 13:5-6

The righteous man or woman is one who has been made righteousness of Jesus.  The wicked man or woman  will be ashamed and  loathsome before the LORD.

Jesus became sin for us dying on the cross, carrying our sins away  in His burial,  and on the third day He    rose up from that tomb which  was His victory over death and the grave.
