Day Two Hundred Seventy and Two

What do I want for Christmas?

I want my family, friends, neighbors, readers of this blog, people around the world to be free of crippling, hindering fear, and I want you to know that is only possible through the faith of Jesus Christ Son of the Living God, God the Living Son.

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1 (KJV)

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

  1. This one was really for me. I have a background of being raised by alcoholics who were less than helpful in raising the kids in our family of which I was by far the oldest, so that fell to me. So I have been a “:grown up” since I was seven. I doubt you need to know all the heartbreaking events I had to suffer and to attempt to help my younger sisters and brother. So thank you for this entry to remind me of what I know is true, and help me to continue to be in His presence and to appreciate all He has done for me. If not for His intervention, I would not be here now. jlehman1945
